Network Manager
Alyssa Rhodes joined the Ramallah Resilience team in August 2016 as a Network Manager after working for 100 Resilient Cities in New York. She initially joined 100RC after participating in the Bridge to the Middle East program at the American University Center of Provence in Marseille, France, a full-immersion French/Arabic language program that focused on cultural relativism, French/North African immigration issues, and French and Arabic linguistic strategies. Following her time abroad, she served as a Peer Advisor for the George Washington University Office for Study Abroad, working to promote international education opportunities in France and North Africa. Alyssa also has experience in the defense sector, having worked as an assistant at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO and as a research assistant at the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy at National Defense University in Washington, DC, where she conducted research on strategic planning and future US Force Posture in the Asia-Pacific region.
Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, concentrating in Conflict and Security with a minor in French, from the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. She has full professional working proficiency in French, and has intermediate proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic.
